Mount Hope is always pleased to see eligible staff members be part of the IDA’s success. Lynette, once an Employment Counselor at the organization, used her matched savings to pay for her Criminal Justice degree at Monroe College. She graduated in May of 2005.

Adewale Olajubelo

Adewale Olajubelo, Pre-Med Student
Adewale joined the IDA Program in 2002 and met his educational savings goal within a year. A new immigrant from Africa, he made great strides in mastering Money Management Training while completing pre-med course work at City College of New York.

Latoya Friday, College Graduate

Latoya used her IDA in 2002 to subsidize her Associates Degree in Business Administration at Monroe College. After graduation, she used her college degree and tools learned during financial literacy training at Mount Hope to launch a small business of her own — providing hair care products and services.
